Jeanette Biedermann (born February 22, 1981), professionally known as Jeanette, is a German pop singer-songwriter, actress and television personality.
Her first album Enjoy! was released in 2000 and her second album Delicious was released one year later and peaked at number 16 on the German Album Charts. The album was certified Gold, featuring the hits How It's Got To Be and No More Tears. In 2002 Jeanette released her third album Rock My Life (2002) and it became her first Top Ten album in Germany and was also certified Gold. She has released four singles Rock My Life, We've Got Tonight, It's Over Now and Right Now and all of them have managed it to chart into the Top Ten of the German Charts. One year later she released her fourth album Break On Through (2003) The album is her most successful album in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It charted in the Top 10 and is the first album with a Platinum certification. The first single of the album was Rockin' On Heaven's Floor, peaked at number 3 in Germany and number 6 in Austria and Switzerland. Jeanette has played the main role of TV series Anna und die Liebe since August 2008. In 2009 she returned to music business with a new album (her sixth) Undress to the Beat (2009). Its first single was the smash hit "Undress to the Beat" which reached 6 in her homecountry. Jeanette has sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
